NASHVILLE, TENN. – The holiday season can be the best time of the year, while also being the hardest time for others. Best Christmas Ever (BCE), a non-profit organization has collaborated with Nashville rising country artists Molly Lovette and Mark Taylor to create a heartfelt and emotional duet, entitled, Hope In The Snow. This emotive theme song for the BCE organization brings light on hope, faith and community support through unprecedent hard times. Hope In The Snow is available on all digital streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and more.
This national and international BCE organization is created for families who have gone through tough times during a certain chapter of their life, through no fault of their own. Their mission is to bring hope to families through committed volunteers acting with bold generosity to positively impact those families in need.
With emotional stories that can be told from Don Liimatainen, founder of BCE, the story behind this song evokes and honors a late father’s legacy. A few years ago, on Father’s Day, a day that is meant for honoring dads, was eclipsed by a nightmare for a Minnesota family. After a horrific car accident, the family woke to find they lost their husband and father of 3. Nothing would compare to the pain that filled their hearts, but “somebody was able to take one of the worst things that you could possibility think of and turn it into $70,000+ for families all over, to be a force for good,” says Don.
“It’s inspiring to see the good in people and those that come together to help those in need,” says Molly Lovette. “The holidays are a very special time and after watching some of the BCE videos, it really struck a chord and pulled at my heartstrings. It truly is an honor to be one of the artists to write and perform an original song for BCE’s mission.”
“We have the same publicity firm, so when our publicist shared the inspirational stories and life-changing events that BCE has been doing, we knew we had to do something special for them,” says Mark Taylor. “This is an amazing opportunity to make an impact during the holiday season and flip the tables and surprise them this time, with their own song.”
This duet will not only be memorable and impactful for all of BCE’s events as their national theme song, but for anyone who needs hope during the holiday and create encouragement and a positive outlook for listeners. “Every year, we play special holiday songs which correlates well with our mission,” says Don. “However, we now have our own song for these events. Both Molly Lovette and Mark Taylor were extremely gracious enough to write, record and make a dream of ours happen. Hope In The Snowevokes a real emotion and we couldn’t have asked for a better song.” With special recognition going to David Hoffman for putting this project into motion and producer Leland Grant (Chris Young, Rachel Bradshaw, etc), this song is the perfect inspirational holiday tune.
