Towne Premieres New Single, “Camouflage”

Alternative Folk Pop Duo Releases Track Ahead of Upcoming EP, Audacious

“Armed with a driving pop beat and folk undertones, ‘Let Me Let You Go’
showcases Steevie’s captivating vocals and Jon’s glorious harmonies perfectly.” – Celeb Mix

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Alternative folk pop duo Towne released their new single “Camouflage” on Friday (4/6). Fans were given a preview on Thursday (4/5) when the song premiered exclusively with Direct Lyrics. The release, which made its television debut when Towne performed on Today in Nashville (4/6), precedes the group’s upcoming EP Audacious, due out in May.

Listen to “Camouflage” here.

The duo shared, “’Camouflage’ was a turning point”song for us – lyrically, emotionally and musically. It’s the first time we’ve felt like all of the pieces fell together just right in a writing session and in the studio. It was the song that lit the fire that led us to make the Audacious EP and we hope it will inspire our fans to always be themselves and never seek the attention of people who don’t see them as they are. Be yourself. Never change who you are to be accepted.”

Based out of Nashville and referenced as “pop, folk and a whole lotta soul,” (PopDust) members Jon Decious and Steevie Steeves’ partnership began rather serendipitously when both got scholarships to Skip Ewing’s “Horse and Writer” songwriting camp in Wyoming. A few co-writes in, the pair knew they were onto something, officially establishing themselves as Towne.

In February, they released “Let Me Let You Go,” the upcoming EP’s first released single.
