Multi-platinum award winning Kid Rock won’t be racing, but he will be rocking the Infield of the IMS (Indianapolis Motor Speedway) during the Crown Royal 400 at the Brickyard weekend, on July 23, 2016.  Opening for the rocker will be country group Parmalee.

Kid Rock first came on scene in the late 90’s as a rapper who then made the turn to more Rock influenced music, eventually settling into a more country bluesman.  Known for his fired up performances, Rock will play Saturday night after the Xfinity Eli Lilly Diabetes 250 Race. The Michigan native has previously played at IMS during the infamous Carb Day before the running of the Indy 500 Race.

North Carolina natives Parmalee burst onto the country music scene with their 2013 debut album Feels Like Carolina, yielding hits like the sports anthem “Must’ve Had a Good Time” and the gold-selling “Carolina” – spending several weeks at #1, “Carolina” the longest climbing song by a duo or group on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart.

Prices for a single ticket are $30 until July 8, increasing to $40 afterwards. Ticket info can be found at www.IMS.com
