FIVE-TRACK SET FOLLOWS GOLD-CERTIFIED
NO.1 SUCCESS OF “ONE BIG COUNTRY SONG”

NASHVILLE, TENN. — Offering an unapologetic voice for the people raised in the middle of nowhere, chart-topping BBR Music Group/BMG’s Wheelhouse Records’ rowdy outliers LOCASH are taking it to the Woods & Water with a brand-new EP out November 5. Pre-add/pre-save Woods & Water here.

“We can’t wait to share this music! We kept it all on a positive note like we do best, and we collaborated with some bucket list voices and writers. We wanted Woods & Water – EP to be a mini vacation – a getaway,” shares LOCASH. “Relatable and easy to sing along to, this project hits every feel-good tempo. It’s us. These are the anthems the world needs right now.”

Their Southern-Rock-infused tropes of rural life bring a much-needed fun-and-brash attitude to Country music. Inspired by each of their childhoods – Chris Lucas grew up in Baltimore, MD, on the water and Preston Brust, a PK (preacher’s kid), was raised in Kokomo, IN, by way of Arkansas and surrounded by nature – Woods & Water – EP represents both. With five fresh tracks – each one penned by at least one member of the duo – the adventurous and carefree collection bobs on LOCASH’s high-energy twang, along with lyrics that capture their signature big picture optimism and penchant for living large in a small town. With noteworthy co-writers like The Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson and Mike Love, plus key Nashville tunesmiths such as Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson, Ben Hayslip, and Chris LaCorte, Corey Crowder (Florida Georgia Line, Chris Young) is tagged as the main producer, with additional production by Clint Lagerberg. Fans should be on the lookout for an easy-breezy tune that reimagines one of American music’s most-iconic songs, plus plenty of party-ready anthems, laid-back grooves, and made-in-the-shade contentment, as the set features sounds ranging from earthy Roots-Rock, to sunny, beachside Country jams – and of course, LOCASH’s harmony edge – as they continue to push forward, even offering a few surprises along the way.

LOCASH’s Woods & Water – EP Track List:
1. “Beach Boys” (Chris Lucas, Preston Brust, Dallas Wilson, Jared Mullins, Brian Wilson, Mike Love)
2. “In The Woods” (Chris Lucas, Preston Brust, Chris LaCorte, Corey Crowder)
3. “Sippin Sunsets” (Chris Lucas, Preston Brust, Jason Duke, John Byron)
4. “Small Town For Life” (Chris Lucas, Preston Brust, Ben Hayslip, Dallas Davidson, Rhett Akins)
5. “Chillionaire” (Preston Brust, Clint Lagerberg, Drew Baldridge)
Tracks 1-4 Produced by Corey Crowder

Marking the follow up to LOCASH’s 2019 album, Brothers – which notched the GOLD-certified No. 1 hit, “One Big Country Song” – Woods & Water – EP is the long-awaited next step for the pair of independently-minded Country favorites and established radio hitmakers.

Tallying three GOLD-certified career hits, two No.1 hits, two acclaimed albums, and nearly 500 MILLION global streams to their credit, LOCASH just recently announced an extended global publishing agreement with BMG. As boisterous and unrestrained performers, they’ve also returned to the road with headlining and festival dates across the country including the Tortuga Music Festival (Fort Lauderdale, FL, on November 14) and the National Finals Rodeo (Las Vegas, NV, on December 3).
