The poignant new song traces Tyndall’s autobiographical tale of being a young girl
traveling between divorced parents as she grows up as the “Middle Man”
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – River House Artist, Kasey Tyndall, releases her highly anticipated new single “Middle Man” co-written with Lainey Wilson, available everywhere today. The moving ballad shows a softer side to the artist Rolling Stone tapped as a “hard rock country badass” and follows the journey of Kasey’s childhood growing up traveling between the two homes of her divorced parents.

“Middle Man isn’t a song about being a victim of divorce, it’s about how it molded me into the person I am today,” shares Tyndall. “My goal is for everyone who hears it to be reminded that no matter what you go through in life, there’s a reason and beauty in it all.”
Produced by Jacob Rice, “Middle Man” was written at Tyndall and co-writer Wilson’s house on their back porch as they swapped stories about growing up. The opening lines, “I hope my mamma never hears this song / And I’d hate to make daddy feel guilty” were shared honestly as Tyndall’s autobiography lyrically fell onto Wilson’s guitar, as she poured her story out about meeting at a gas station halfway between Greenville and Rocky Mount, N.C. This is the first release from Tyndall since 2019 and marks the first of many releases this year.
Tyndall will hit the road this summer on tour with Country legend Jamey Johnson and Whiskey Myers for thirteen dates throughout the South and Midwest.
