Emily Patt Releases New Single “No Plans”

Listen to “No Plans” here

For her new release, Emily Patt brings together her pop and country influences, in a flirtatious love song about “shooting your shot.” The track features clean vocals, catchy electric guitar, upbeat drums, and twangy slide guitar. With influences such as Taylor Swift, Maren Morris, and Sam Hunt, Patt shows off her storytelling ability through her clever lyrics. “No Plans” was written, produced, mixed, and mastered completely by women. It is a testament to what women in country music can accomplish when they are given the space to do so.

Written by: Emily Patt
Produced and Mixed by: Sara Shankar
Mastered by: Gabi Grella

Emily Patt considers herself, first and foremost, a storyteller. A midwest native, Patt has been making up songs from a young age, but she started taking music seriously the summer after her freshman year of high school when she attended a singer-songwriter intensive at Interlochen Center for the Arts. She first gained exposure to live performing in high school through a weekly Sunday morning gig at a local coffee shop in her hometown of Glenview, IL. Now a student at the highly-renowned NYU Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, Patt combines her carefully crafted lyrics with catchy hooks and country-pop production. She is currently in the early stages of working on her debut EP, coming soon.
