Florida Georgia Line Mends Hearts with Unexpected Song Release

Florida Georgia Line have had no issues with showing the world their sensitive side – if their latest number one single “H.O.L.Y.” wasn’t proof enough, the chart-toppers duo felt it imperative to release another heartwarming song from their upcoming Dig Your Roots album, “Music is Healing.”

Now this release is not a new single – rather, it’s just something the chart-toppers felt was highly appropriate to state after a multitude of recent events, including the the massacre of five Dallas Police officers whom were protecting peaceful protesters who were marching over the unjust killings of two men in Louisiana and Minnesota.

The duo took to their official Instagram page, stating:  “Lyrics to ‘Music Is Healing’  include “If I could write the perfect song / Make a little right out of all the wrong / Would you close your eyes / Would you let it in / Would you light your candle against the wind / “If I could sing the perfect words / And change the world, unhurt the hurt / That we’re all feeling, stop the bleeding / Get back to believing, love is the answer and music is healing.”

Tyler Hubbard took to his own Instagram page, stating “This song has never rang more true. My heart is broken.  Love is the answer and music is healing. Praying for this country.”

The song, which relies heavily on the talented piano playing of Hubbard and amazing vocals by Kelley, is another view into the more mature side of the two.

Look for “Music is Healing” on Florida Georgia Line’s upcoming Dig Your Roots album.
