At the age of 19, Chandler Stephens left her native Florida and her family of 17 (parents, brother and 14 adopted siblings) to chase her dream of being a musician, leading her to Nashville. Fast forward a few years and now with a family of her own – husband Cliff and daughter Layla – Stephens is more mature as a person and an artist. She may not pack up and go like that 19 year old did, but that desire to chase her dreams is still alive in her, as shown in her newest single “Bet On You.” The track makes its exclusive premiere with The Country Note today.
With gentle strings and a steady kick beat, Stephens’ soft vocals bring a sense of intimacy as she shares her journey of leaving home and following the music to Nashville. “This song means a lot to me because it tells a little bit of my story- stepping out of my comfort zone and getting the courage to leave everything I knew to follow my dreams and make the move to Nashville,” says Stephens. “It’s also a call to anyone who has ever had a dream and has hesitated, to take that leap of faith, go for it, follow your dreams, and bet on yourself.”
