Starting today, GRAMMY Award-Winning country music songwriter and recording artist Frank Myers’ latest original song “God’s Got This” is available for pre-sale/pre-save on all major digital retail and streaming outlets. His first release since 2006 and first in the Christian genre, Myers co-wrote the Jimmy Nichols produced track with Richie McDonald after the title of the song came to him while he was going through a tough situation. And whereas the track is very personal for Myers, its message is also universal and timely for the environment of the world today:
“I was going through some personal things in my life and I realized I was powerless in the situation. I just sat back, closed my eyes, and the words “God’s Got This” came to me,” says Myers. “I feel this song speaks volumes not only in today’s turmoil and unsettled circumstances, but to everyday hurdles, and I hope the message offers anyone listening a renewal of faith to believe that no matter the struggle, HE is right there with us.”
In addition to the pre-sale/pre-save announcement, Myers is also releasing the official music video for the uplifting single, premiering exclusively with The Country Note today.
The video centers on a man as he enters an empty church. While he may be the only person there, he knows he is not alone but rather in the presence of the Lord. He lights a candle, kneels in a pew, rosary in hand. You can tell there is a weight on his mind and in his body as he prays. However as Myers sings, his lyrics bring comfort to the situation, reassuring that there’s no need to worry for whatever is going on, “God’s Got This.”
