Cody Jinks Launches New Independent Label Late August Records

NEW TOUR DATES CONFIRMED INCLUDING STAGECOACH FESTIVAL 2022

Cody Jinks adds to an already accomplished career with the launch of his own independent label, Late August Records, to be led by his longtime manager, Arthur Penhallow Jr. at True Grit Management, and Nashville music industry executive, Malia Barrett. Jinks’ entire catalogue as well as all future releases will be available via Late August Records.

The new endeavor is just the latest example of Jinks’ tenacious hands-on approach. An artist who is continuously at work, Jinks and his band will spend much of the next year on the road including a special performance at Stagecoach Festival 2022 (April 29-May 1) as well as newly confirmed shows at New Orleans’ Saenger Theatre and Las Vegas’ The Chelsea
later this year, which were added due to high demand after selling out two nights within minutes in each city. He’ll also make stops this fall in Wichita, KS, Columbia, MO, Fayetteville, NC, Dubuque, IA, Richmond, VA, Bristol, TN and August, GA as well as his own festival in Luckenbach, TX. See below for complete details. Tickets for the newly confirmed dates go on-sale this Friday, July 16, full details can be found at www.codyjinks.com.

This past spring, Jinks released the fan-favorite acoustic album, Adobe Sessions Unplugged. Stream/purchase HERE. Recorded during a livestream concert this past fall, the album is a stripped-down recreation of Jinks’ acclaimed 2015 record, Adobe Sessionsfeaturing his RIAA Platinum certified song, “Loud and Heavy.” In conjunction with the release,Jinks also recorded a special interview series, “Behind the Mind and Music of Cody Jinks,” where he dissects each track on the album—available now with purchase of CD or vinyl.

The release adds to a groundbreaking series of years for Jinks, who has been hailed as “one of outlaw country’s most popular new stars” (Rolling Stone) and was recently named MusicRow’s 2020 Independent Artist of the Year after receiving the most radio spins for an independent artist last year. Jinks has sold over 1.5 million equivalent units throughout his career and received over 2 billion lifetime streams to date.
