Blake Shelton is no stranger to a good bromance, he has one with men across multiple genres. But there is something special about Shelton and Chris Young – maybe it’s because it’s long-standing. Maybe because Young idolized Shelton when he was younger. Maybe it’s because Young was thrown in to the messy publicity following Shelton’s divorce from Miranda Lambert last summer. Or maybe it’s because they’re both incredibly tall, gorgeous, and talented (here’s a napkin for the drool).
Regardless, this bromance just works and a reunion was long overdue. And fans at Off the Rails Country Music Fest this past weekend in Frisco, TX (you lucky so and so’s) were treated to that reunion as Young took over Trace Adkins vocals in Shelton’s 2009 hit “Hillbilly Bone.”
