Grammy Award-nominated Andrija Tokic (Alabama Shakes) Produced the Project
My One And Only, a Nashville-based duo emerging on the Americana music scene, released their debut album “The Past Year” Friday (9/7) to all major online retailers. The album is produced by Grammy Award-nominated Andrija Tokic (Alabama Shakes,) and features all original songs by the duo – husband and wife Ben and Kassie Wilson.
“This album permits the listener to peek into some of the vulnerable times over the past year of our lives,” Kassie said. “We’re excited to share these true-to-life and emotionally raw songs set to the backdrop of an all analog-recorded album. It’s a musical glimpse into our honest selves,” Ben continued.
As to their musical style, My One And Only is Southern soul with curious grittiness. The album features five songs and is described as having an edgy, Americana vibe with a load of truth-telling. It is now available for download or may be streamed on iTunes, Spotify, Google Play & Amazon.

The lead single is “To My Rescue,” a look at the ups and downs of marriage and the goodness gained by persevering.
