Abigail Neilson Releases New Single and Music Video for “Seams”

Seattle Country/Pop artist Abigail Neilson has released her next single entitled, ‘Seams’ today, February 26th.

For Country/Pop artist Abigail Neilson, the heart and soul of music is rooted in its ability to connect with others on a deeper level, and coincidentally, the Seattle-based artist has a lot to get off her chest. Thematically, her honest and captivating ballads cover the spectrum of human emotion — everything from the joy of falling in love, to the agony of heartbreak and the strength of female empowerment.

Spoken with the imagery of wanting to be sewn back together, “Seams,” is a heart-wrenching track that dives into the aftermath of getting your heart broken. While the instrumental is carried by a soft piano and string section, the lyrics dive deep into the pain of being deserted by someone who you thought loved you. In the second verse, the lyrics utter, “You just woke up one day and don’t love me now,” exemplifying how suddenly a relationship you thought was secure, can end in an instant with no understanding of why. This song lets the listener sink into the feelings of the pain and confusion that comes along with heartache.

“Seams,” was self-written by Abigail Neilson. The track was produced in Nashville, Tennessee by Robbie Artress who has worked with artists such as Chris Stapleton, Ben Folds, and Randy Rogers Band. Instrumental tracking was done by brothers Gideon and Gabe Klein, as well as Ellen Angelico, who have all played with artists such as Tenille Townes, Delta Rae and Lauren Jenkins.
