Lower Broadway was packed as Rodney Atkins brought his free annual “Music City Gives Back” benefit concert on Tuesday, June 9th.   Hosted by Chuck Wicks and Blair Garner of “America’s Morning Show,” Atkins was also joined on stage by Maddie & Tae, Tyler Farr, Kip Moore and Lee Brice. DJ Silver was also on hand to entertain the crowd.

Maddie & Tae impressed the crowd with their harmonic voices and old country sound (as well as their hit “Girl In A Country Song”) while Tyler Farr’s energetic set fed off the crowd, especially during “Redneck Crazy”.  Rodney Atkins performed his hits “Take A Backroad,” “Watching you” and others, and brought out his wife Rose Falcon to join him on stage.

Kip Moore, sporting his backwards red cap and cut off t-shirt, continued the party with “Beer Money” and “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck” and his new song “I’m To Blame.”  Lee Brice closed the night with a memorable set that included “I Don’t Dance,” “Drinking Class” and “Parking Lot Party.”

Carl Black ChevroletWrangler and ALLY Bank were the presenting sponsors for “Music City Gives Back,” which benefits Nashville’s W.O. Smith Music School.
