Monument Recording artist Walker Hayes is rapidly paving his own path with his standout and distinctive music. His last single, “You Broke Up With Me” was received excitedly by fans and now Walker has taken that momentum to share his latest release “Craig” – a song with a message that’s heartening and uplifting.
Several years ago, Walker and his wife Laney were down on their luck. After losing his record deal and still battling some personal issues, Walker quickly found himself without a car that would fit his family and too much pride to declare he needed some help. His situation improved when he met a man at church named Craig. Accepting Walker for who he was, Craig stepped in to help quite unexpectedly. One day Craig showed up at the ballpark where Walker was watching his son play to give him the keys to car that would fit his family. “Craig” is Walker’s thank you note to a man who selflessly saw a family in need and provided them with support when they needed it the most:
