Travis Rice Pays Homage to Small-Town Life in “Women, Water and Beer”

Travis Rice’s new single has all the elements of a backyard summertime jam – giving ode to his small-town up bringing, “Women, Water and Beer” has deep-country roots, but is set to an upbeat tune making it modern and fun. Rice penned the song himself and his lyrics take us back to what country summers are all about. His voice is smooth, easy to listen to and has a little bit of gravel similar to Trace Adkins.

There is a light-heartedness to “Women, Water and Beer,” both lyrically and musically. Rice’s energy in the song is infectious, making it easily relatable and catchy – right away the song starts off strong, but you can’t help but be hooked after hearing the chorus.

Rice may think “there are only three things that we need,” but we’d say this song would make it four. After only a couple listens, you’ll find yourself happily tapping your foot and singing along with the lyrics. The song is very catchy and we’re looking forward to what else Rice will be dishing out this summer on his new EP.
