Lee Brice’s “Rumor” Is the Talk of the Town

This summer, Curb recording artist Lee Brice introduced his Analog Series held in Nashville, with each of the three shows featuring its own theme and charity that it will benefit. The second installment of the series was held at the end of August, highlighting Women In Country Music, while the third and last show will be held on October 1st where Brice will pay tribute to the Route 91 Festival. And as if that wasn’t a busy enough summer for the singer, he recently released “Rumor“, the second single off his self-titled album.

In small towns across America, there are rumors going around about that couple people think are together, but are they? They’ve grown up in this town together and have been friends for years; hanging out at the local bar and tearing up the dance floor is what they have been doing for so long. Now there is a rumor going around about them and nothing more for it to be true. The feelings can’t be denied, so it’s time to end the rumor and really give them something to talk about in this little town:

Well I can shut ’em down, tell ’em all they’re crazy
I can do whatever you want me to do, baby
Or you could lay one on me right now

“Rumor” has one of the most standout intros, leading in with a choir sets the feeling for the whole song. The simplicity and slow tempo really allows Brice to deliver the voice fans love to hear. His powerhouse, raspy voice is highlighted on the chorus and reminds us of just how talented he is. “Rumor” is a commanding single for Brice and we love the choice coming off of his last single “Boy.”

Brice also spun another rumor today, tweeting that the music video will premiere tomorrow on Apple Music:

“Rumor” is available where all digital music is sold..
