Brown grew up listening to country music and began singing while in high school. After winning a talent show in the 11th grade (the winning song was country crooner Chris Young’s “Getting You Home”), he decided to pursue a music career. Coming full circle, Brown has been on the winter piece of the Losing Sleep World Tour with Young and will be going back out with him for the spring and summer leg of the tour.
