Warner Brothers Nashville recording artist Cole Swindell is teaching us a valuable lesson with his new single “Love You Too Late”. This is Swindell’s second single off of his third album All of It and comes on the heels of his eighth number one single “Break Up in the End”.

Being heartbroken is not an easy thing to process, and when you add the realization that you’ve made a mistake it only adds salt to the wound. Now that it is over, she’s left town like your relationship never happened and seems to be moving on with her life. You just replay in your mind what you should’ve said or could’ve done to mitigate all of this. In the end, it came down to what you didn’t say that has you sitting alone wondering what she is doing. “Love You Too Late” is empathetic to all the relationships that ended in heartache.

Mile by mile and city by city
She’s getting over me and man
It ain’t pretty, no

Swindell has such a rare voice in country music, it truly makes him a standout. His vocals have a rawness and a capacity to them that give all of his songs an incomparable sound. “Love You Too Late” is full of sentiment while still having an upbeat tempo. The chorus has a memorable cadence; it’s the ideal mix of tempo that allows the emotion to be conveyed with a twist of liveliness. “Love You Too Late” presents that you shouldn’t let anything hold you back because once it’s too late there is no going back.

Cole Swindell is currently on his “Reason to Drink…..Another” tour with Dustin Lynch and Lauren Alania. For a list of tour dates visit here.
