T.J and John Osborne, otherwise known as Brothers Osborne, had an impressive 2017 that included winning several awards (2 ACMs and 2 CMAs) and they are showing no mercy in 2018. The EMI Nashville recording artists have released a new single titled “Shoot Me Straight” and fans can only hope that this is their first single off of an upcoming album.
Brothers Osborne wants to let you know that if you plan on breaking up with them, don’t worry about laying them down easy, just cut to the chase. Hit them hard with the heartache you are going to cause. No need to have concern over them, there is plenty of alcohol to make getting over you a whole lot easier. Just shoot them straight and make it burn, they can manage the aftermath.
In true Brothers Osborne form, “Shoot Me Straight” starts out with a fantastic guitar riff. Let’s talk about the incomparable voice that is T.J. Osborne. His smooth, consistent, and firm vocals do not dissatisfy. The tempo of “Shoot Me Straight” is entertaining and keeps the song dynamic and just when the lyrics end, John does what he does best and kicks it into high gear with his guitar. We’re not sure how Brothers Osborne does it, but they manage to progressively distribute one hit single after the next.
Brothers Osborne just announced that they are touring with Dierks Bentley on his summer “Mountain High Tour” along with LANCO.
