With hits like “Southern Voice,” “Live Like You Were Dying” and “Real Good Man,” it’s easy to see why Tim McGraw has had such success as a country singer.  And if his vocals alone couldn’t make you fall in love, consider this: he’s a triple threat. He’s a singer, actor and family man – and that’s why he’s this week’s #MCM!  Check out our five reasons why we love the guy with the signature black cowboy hat!

1. He can act. Just when we thought McGraw had us captivated with his music, he goes ahead and becomes an actor. And a damn good one, his credits including Friday Night Lights and The Blind Side.

2. He’s a family man. The love he has for wife Faith Hill and their three daughters (Gracie, Maggie and Audrey) is absolutely precious.

And the love he and Faith have for music has also been passed on as daughters Audrey and Gracie both have shown that they have their parents’ talent in their DNA.  Youngest daughter Audrey performed during McGraw’s “Sundown Heaven Town” Tour for the VIP session, while Gracie joined her father on stage last summer at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville:

3. He’s like a fine wine, getting better with age. McGraw has definitely changed a bit since making his music debut – now at 49,  he’s in the best shape of his life!

4. He’s a real bad boy and a real good man. Hitting the music scene in the 1990’s with a bit of a bad boy persona but McGraw has grown into a humble, caring, and idealic person. But don’t ever consider him overly sensitive – McGraw can still lay down the law, as seen in many videos on YouTube.

5. The music. How could you not? With classic staples such as “Don’t Take the Girl” to his movement making “Humble and Kind,” McGraw’s diverse catalog has had him reinventing his sound while keeping the incredibly distinct sound that fans love him for.
