Nashville, Tenn. – Emerging country artist, Charly Reynolds just released her new single, “Half Of It.” The song which comes from a very personal place coveys a powerful message to listeners wrapped within a melodious, mid-tempo tune that perfectly showcases the contrast of her vocal range spanning her rich and velvet-like alto tones and sweet and angelic high notes. “I don’t talk about my problems but I’m willing to admit, you only see what I show you, and you ain’t seen the half of it….we all know feelings, we all know pain, we all have problems, and we all hurt the same…” Reynolds co-wrote “Half Of It” with Nicole Croteau, it was produced by Dave Mohr, and it is already creating a buzz among listeners and music industry professionals. It premiered at #87 on the Country iTunes charts and on Radio SoBro on Friday upon its release. The song is currently available through all streaming platforms and digital retailers. Listen here.

“I have been waiting to put out new music until I wrote that one special song that I felt in my heart needed to be shared, personally meant something to me and was one that everyone could relate to. The song came to fruition one night while Nicole and I were having an intimate conversation on how I had been struggling with the pressures of trying to be perfect and to not disappoint others with their expectations of me,” Reynolds recalled. “People look at my life and assume that it’s all smiles from what they see on social media when in reality, they only see what I choose to share. We all have things we keep private and do not talk about. You haven’t seen the half of mine that includes the lows, and the sadness and that’s okay, but we all have to remember that everyone has problems and challenges they face, that others are not aware of. Through this time of social distancing, I have learned a lot about myself and that being vulnerable is not a bad thing and does not reflect weakness. I have never thought that of others when they have been vulnerable with me, however, I have always felt that way with myself. For the first time, I now feel comfortable sharing that part of my life,” commented Reynolds on her new song.

In addition to working on new music, Reynolds has recently announced upcoming shows and is in the planning stages of a west coast tour for 2021. She also recently learned that she is a nominee in the 2021 Hollywood Music in Media Awards in the Songwriter category for her song “Granddaddy’s Girl” which she co-wrote with Tavie Basarich. The awards will be held in Hollywood, CA on Jan. 27th.
