New Hit Single Gains More Than 3 Million Streams
And Enters Mediabase Airplay Chart

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Show Dog Nashville duo Waterloo Revival aren’t resting during this worldwide pause, they’re bringing music lovers “Something You Ain’t Ever Had.”

Streaming platforms heated up this past week for their new song, which has hit more than 3 million streams. In addition to the increase in on-demand plays, gains in spins at country radio nationwide have started the single’s rise onto Mediabase’s Country Airplay chart.

Digital Journal notes, “Waterloo Revival is back stronger than ever with their infectious new single. What country radio stations need is ‘Something You Ain’t Ever Had’ in heavy rotation on their airwaves. It garners an A rating.”

Last month, Taste of Country premiered the official music video for “Something You Ain’t Ever Had.” Watch it now, here (youtu.be/Eicf8LdPCxM).

The duo, George Birge and Cody Cooper, have stayed in touch with fans and radio stations through Facebook and Instagram takeovers, virtual meet & greets, and video chats. They also dropped some streaming performances on their social media pages including a 35-minute set and a sneak peak of new music coming later this year as well as a virtual Facebook concert hosted by Wrangler that also featured performances by multi-platinum singer, songwriter Clay Walker and 10-time CMA Musician of the Year Mac McAnally. Watch playbacks of the live-streams herefacebook.com/WaterlooRevival/

“We are so excited for the music video for this song,” says Birge. “Taking a leap of faith as it relates to the lyrics in the song, is something we connected strongly to because it overlaps with our journey in the music industry. We have been wanting to work with director Dustin Haney for a long time now and were blown away by his talent. We hope this video helps bring the song to life for our fans and maybe even inspires a wild hair or two.”

Directed by Dustin Haney (Chris Bandi “Man Enough Now,” Jimmie Allen/Noah Cyrus “This Is Us”), the video plays out the lyrics of the song which tells the story of one man’s promises to his intended a profound love, instead of the shallow affections of another man who’s “got the look, yeah, he’s got the style.” Declaring …

What you need is a brand new feelin’
What you need is a brand new man
What you need is probably something you ain’t ever had

Produced by Lalo Guzman and executive produced by Arturo Buenahora, Jr. the track was written by Heath Warren, Brendan Cooney and Rob Grimaldi. Its charms immediately attracted the attention of the duo’s Birge and Cooper.

“‘Something You Ain’t Ever Had’ is a song that jumped off the page to us right away,” says Birge. “We have always prided ourselves on the energy in our live set, and we feel like this song captures that coming out of the speakers. From the empowering message, to the captivating sound, we cannot wait to get this song out to the world and into our live show!”
