Available Now At All Digital Service Providers

NASHVILLE, TN – Play It Again Entertainment’s flagship artist and emerging singer-songwriter Walker Montgomery releases his new song “Wouldn’t Be A Country Boy” across all digital service providers today. The song, written by Luke Bryan, Dallas Davidson, Ashley Gorley and Kyle Fischman, will be included an upcoming collection of new music expected this year and is the follow-up to his popular “She Don’t Know” and the uptempo feel-good “Bad Day To Be A Beer,” which Taste of Country calls a “wide open country-rocker,” released in late 2020.

Montgomery was picked as an Artist to Watch in 2021 by Sounds Like Nashville and The Boot as well as a Country Next pick by Country Now.

“’Wouldn’t Be a Country Boy’ is the perfect song to describe just how lucky and grateful I am to have been blessed enough to grow up the way I did,” says Montgomery. “And to sing a song that fits me perfectly that was written by some of my greatest artist and songwriter influences makes this even more special.”

Montgomery will be back on the road in April opening shows for UMG Nashville recording artist Travis Denning in addition to some of his own headlining dates. Click HERE for the updated list of tour dates.

“Wouldn’t Be A Country Boy” follows on the heels of his Play It Again Entertainment’s releases of “She Don’t Know,” “Bad Day To Be A Beer,” and his two PIA Entertainment debuts “Saving For A Rainy Night” and “Like My Daddy Done It” which he released in early 2020. In 2018, Montgomery released a debut EP, Simple Town, which he released independently and has already hit 9 million streams (including 4 million streams for the EPs title track).  The rising singer-songwriter, prior to the COVID pandemic, has also been busy building a fan base on the road with 100+ paid shows a year.

Montgomery’s new music is produced by the multi-award winning No. 1 hit songwriters The Peach Pickers (Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson and Ben Hayslip) who have a combined 73 No. 1 songs between them and multiple songwriting awards.
