NASHVILLE, TN – Leading with his debut single “The Difference,” TYLER RICH is proving to be just that with the No. 1 spot on SiriusXM’s The Highway, a performance on NBC’s TODAY, a major tour announcement and new music on the way. The Valory Music Co. artist will release his self-titled EP September 21, featuring four tracks that mix laid-back melodies with vivid lyrics. Enlisting Tyler as one of their “10 New Country Artists You Need to Know, touts him as “the newest member of country music’s radio-minded incoming class, with a homecoming king’s wagger and a valedictorian’s songwriting smarts.”Rolling Stone

Recorded in Nashville, Michael Knox produced “Adrenaline,” “11:11” and “Take It Or Leave It” while Big Machine Label Group President/CEO Scott Borchetta, Julian Raymond and Lindsay Rimes are credited on “The Difference.” Crossing over 18 million streams, “The Difference” has entered the Top 40 at Country radio.

In conjunction with the EP release on September 21, Tyler will treat fans to a special Amazon Original cover of Michael Jackson’s iconic “Billie Jean.” This Country/Pop version will be available exclusively on Amazon Music.

Tyler will build out the live versions for fans across the country this fall on Brett Young’s CMT ON TOUR: HERE TONIGHT, launching November 16 in Royal Oak, MI. Tickets in select markets are on sale nowhere. Additional dates will be announced in the coming weeks and Rachel Wammack also joins the lineup.

“Brett and I may have grown up on opposite ends of California, but our paths crossed several years ago in Orange County, and then again a few years later when we both made our way to Music City,” explains Tyler. “He’s always been such a class act, and an incredible songwriter. I‘m honored, and so grateful he’s invited me to tour with him this Fall, leaving our own stamp of California Country music across the states!”

From sold-out headline shows across the West Coast to being named a CMT Listen Up artist, Tyler has proven his powerful stage presence. Rolling Stone notes how he “is rising quickly through country’s mainstream ranks, unafraid to fill his music with R&B vocal runs and modern-rock aggression.” He has come a long way from his previous gig at Red Robin to opening up for stars such as Dustin Lynch, Sam Hunt, Justin Moore, Brett Eldredge, Cole Swindell and Dan + Shay. And while his fanbase has grown exponentially outside of his native California, hometown pride remains with Yuba City declaring August 18 as Tyler Rich Day and presenting him with keys to the city.
