Alternative Folk Pop Duo Premiered Official Music Video, New Track Last Week
NASHVILLE, TN – Alternative folk pop duo Towne announced the release date for their upcoming EP, Audacious slated for this Friday, May 18. Praised for their ability of “putting their own stamp on the industry” (CelebMix) and “defying genre classification,” (Popdust) the new project is sure to prove that Towne is here to stay.
“We’re both so excited to get “Audacious” out into the world,” said duo co-founder Jon Decious. “Over the last year or so of writing and recording and trial and error-ing, we feel like we finally honed in on a sound and a batch of songs that really help tell our story to our fans. It’s a little pop/folk, it’s a little rock, a little happy and sad, and it’s totally Towne!”
Just last week, the duo premiered the official music video for their current single, “Camouflage.” Popdustraved the video “stops time” and “takes you places you don’t expect.” Steevie Steeves shared with the outlet that the video was “filmed in a run-down Nashville hotel and has no direct story line, no actors and no plot.” Jon Decious adds, “it’s Steevie performing with her own raw emotion.” Watch the “Camouflage” video here.

In February, Towne released “Let Me Let You Go,” the first single from Audacious. The duo plans to spend their summer on the road sharing their new music with fans.
