TOWNE Releases Music Video For Debut Single, Runnin’ Into You

Nashville-based powerhouse duo, TOWNE, (previously The Devious Angels) are proud to announce the release of the music video for their soul grabbing debut single, Runnin’ Into You, which was penned by the duo and showcases Steevie’s exhilarating vocals leaving the listener craving more.  Jon and Steevie explained, “We wrote Runnin’ Into Younot long after we chose to pursue music rather than a romantic relationship. It’s all about constantly seeing your ex every time you turn around and everywhere you go, physically and literally…seeing how we work with each other, it was a pretty easy one to write.” Videographer Seth Graves helped bring Jon and Steevie’s lyrics to life with the creation of the official music video below.

TOWNE consists of Pennsylvania bred, music theater geek Steevie Steeves and straight-from-Kentucky, former bassist for punk-rock band The Pink Spiders, Jon Decious. The two talents unexpectedly crossed paths at Skip Ewing’s Horse and Writer Seminar in Wyoming where they immediately connected musically. The result of that chance meeting led to the formation of one of Nashville’s most brilliant up-and-coming duos and their debut project, “Games We Play.”

Although they have traveled two different paths, the forks in their roads eventually had them heading in the same direction. When they began writing together, TOWNE’s sound started taking shape. The power and passion behind their music was incomparable. Their distinctive style mixes homegrown sentiment with dive bar rock-n-roll. The organic blend of their soulful edge with Americana southern roots makes them extremely unique. The iconic 60’s influences of Fleetwood Mac, James Taylor, and Carole King shine through their voices in every performance. Steevie and Jon’s musical fate finally caught up to them, and the result is both enchanting and wicked; in the words of Decious, “You can outgrow your boots, but you can’t outrun your boots, or at least that’s what I think they say.”
