NASHVILLE, TENN. – Independent recording artist Tom O’Connor is set to release his latest single, “More Than Pretty,” on January 26th. Listen HERE. The song combines elements of modern pop-country with shades of classic Texas Red Dirt. The lyrics tell the story of a guy seeking meaningful romantic connection rather than one-night stands and the casual relationships that he’s finding in the bar scene.
“There are a lot of people, especially here in Nashville, having fun and enjoying being single in that late-night environment. However, it can get old quick. This song is about wanting more and something deeper, but I think it’s also about growing up.” acknowledges O’Connor. “I feel like “More Than Pretty” is very relatable and will resonate with people who hear it. It’s real and honest.”
“More Than Pretty” was co-written with Josh Byrd. The track was produced by Leland Grant and recorded at South Light Sound in Nashville, TN. In the song O’Connor professes,

The new single is O’Connor’s first release this year and will be part of his forthcoming EP – Good Run.
