Series Features Breakout Up-And-Comers

NASHVILLE, TENN. — Ticketmaster has tapped RCA Nashville/Zone 4 breakthrough artist Kane Brown for its “New Music Favorites” series. Launching this week, the blog series recognizes five breakout entertainers across all music genres and features an exclusive, behind the scenes look at the stand out up-and-comers. Kane’s Ticketmaster “New Music Favorite” page can be found here.

“A viral sensation” (Rolling Stone Country) known for “breaking Country’s rules” (Billboard), Kane has been recognized as “a seductive new voice in country” by Ticketmaster and “an artist to pay attention to” by Rolling Stone Country, as well as a “2016 Artist To Watch” by Huffington PostRolling Stone Country, Billboard and HITS Magazine.

Earlier this year, Monster Energy and Outbreak recognized Kane as a breakthrough discovery-worthy artist of 2016, hand-selecting him to headline their Outbreak Presents “Ain’t No Stopping Us Now” Tour, which launches November 3. Past Outbreak headliners have included Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore, Iggy Azalea, Cole Swindell, and Fetty Wap.

Released in 2016, Kane’s debut EP, Chapter 1, quickly claimed the No. 1 spot on the iTunes Country Albums Chart, hit No. 1 on the iTunes Overall Album Chart, and claimed the No. 3 spot on the Billboard Country albums chart, all preceding radio airplay. His hit song, “Used to Love You Sober” has been certified Gold by the RIAA and his current single, “Thunder In the Rain,” hit #1 on the iTunes Country charts, marking his fifth song to hit #1 on the iTunes Country charts upon its debut, all prior to the songs being available at radio.

The Georgia native independently built his fanbase of millions on his social channels through releasing videos and songs directly to fans, and his cover of George Strait’s “Check Yes Or No” that has been viewed on Facebook more than 10 million times. Kane is currently on the road opening for Florida Georgia Line and his current single, “Thunder in the Rain” is now at country radio. His debut album on RCA Nashville/Zone 4 is expected later this year.
