NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Kiefer Sutherland continues “bringing raucous outlaw country” (KSRO) with a love of storytelling in his songwriting” (St. Louis Post-Dispatch) throughout his Reckless 2018 North American and European Tour. And now, Sutherland is giving fans a taste of what’s to come with his new album set for release later this year with a new track titled, “This Is How It’s Done,” produced by Jude Cole (Ironworks Music).

Kiefer recently opened up to Billboard about returning to touring and playing new music for fans. “I asked myself ‘What is the thing that I love about acting, and music? What is the common denominator?’ And for me, it’s storytelling. And music is a very different way of doing it, but it’s still storytelling nonetheless. Life is tricky. It’s not easy, and we’re all going through it. If you can have that dialogue at a show, then that can really matter. Understanding that was a real turning point for me. I’m not playing a character. As soon as I allowed myself to be me, a connection started to happen,” Kiefer shared.

Kiefer has already played 10 dates, including the Grand Ole Opry, and will perform 23 U.S. and Canadian shows through May 28. In June, he embarks for 17 cities during the European leg (tour dates below).
