“The Girls of Nashville shows have always been filled with celebration and connection. Since 2015, the GON stage has seen performances from some of Nashville’s most incredible songwriters from all genres,” share Smith, Morgan and Duval. “Our driving force has always been to find ways to give back to the community charitably, while lifting up our writer community and giving songs a platform to be heard. We are so grateful to Spotify and SONA for helping us to make both of those goals come to fruition with our livestream on Tuesday.”

The Girls of Nashville are known for their seasonal songwriters nights, which provide a stage for songwriters of all genres and levels of notoriety to a sold-out crowd at City Winery in Nashville. Each writers round includes veterans of the organization as well as newcomers, who are each invited to showcase their original songs with a backing house band. The events, which donate a portion of their proceeds to an organization in need, were put on pause with the restriction of live events in 2020.

“Getting to stream this show on YouTube and Facebook all over the world is so rewarding,” continue the GON founders. “These women are quarantining throughout the country, ready to perform from their childhood home towns, their homes away from homes and of course right here in Nashville. In a year where we need connection more than ever, we are excited to bring these intimate performances direct to fans and viewers.”
