I’VE DIED AND GONE TO NASHVILLE
AND LEFT MY OLD SONGS BEHIND
PLAYIN’ ON REPEAT IN A TABLE TOP STEREO
BUT I CAN STILL HEAR YOU CRY

GIRL YOU DON’T BELIEVE ME
WHEN I SAY IT WON’T BE LONG
THE TRUTH IS I DON’T KNOW
WHEN I’LL BE HOME

“This track is about a career artist, or anyone who spends time on the road, with the hope to build a better future. It’s love story between chasing a dream and missing your family, and relying on their courage to stay strong through it,” said Ben Rubino. “When we embrace the reasons why we are pursuing the dream, it becomes a passion worth the sacrifice.”

“The sentiment of this song holds true for anyone whose career separates them from family,” added the duo’s lead vocalist, Bo Steele“It’s very difficult to be away from family and a price is paid at the expense of love. It’s about sacrifices, the commitment and a promise to keep pushing through until the clouds part to see that it was all worthwhile. But, until then…’you’re gonna have to miss me’.”

The release of the new track (“You’re Gonna Have To Miss Me”) complements the momentum and success of The Band Steele’s most recent country radio single, “Waitin’ On Sunshine” (which landed at No. 29 on the MusicRow Country Breakout Chart) and the corresponding digital release of “Copper Coil.”  Both tracks offer a sneak peak to the Alabama boys’ forthcoming Nashville recording project anticipated in the coming months.
