NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country supergroup Texas Hill released an official music video for “Heaven Down Here,” the title track from their debut album which dropped earlier this year. The visual made its world premiere on Friday (3/25) exclusively with Heartland Network, and features an intimate mix of live performance and behind-the-scenes moments from their album release show at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl.

“We shot this music video at our album release show back in January,” said group member Craig Wayne Boyd. “It was the first song in the set, and you can tell by the looks on our faces… getting to celebrate our first album together with family and friends in the audience was as close to ‘Heaven Down Here’ as it gets.”

Heaven Down Here, which was released in January, further exemplifies the band’s soul-soaked, in-your-face harmonies. The project includes previously released tunes from their self-titled debut EP plus five new tracks. The trio first began writing and performing together in 2019 and announced the band publicly in June of 2020 via Billboard. Since then, Texas Hill has found a fan in anyone that takes the time to listen. American Songwriter recently mused that, “despite their unique strengths, the combination of these three artists works—and it works exceptionally well.” “Hearing our voices blend together was something that got us all excited and, from that point on, we have been 100% resolved to make it happen,” James told Billboard.

“All three of us were thrust into situations where millions of people made snap judgements on our talent and ability in 90 seconds, and that’s why this project has been so cathartic for us. There are so many things we’re proud of on this record. I think the one I’m most proud of is how diverse and raw it is. At a time where new music coming out of ‘Music City’ can be formatted and predictable, we let the music lead; and it took us to a lot of different places. There are elements of Blues, R&B, Country, Southern Rock and even Latin influences on this mama-jama. I think there’s something for everyone on here,” says Adam Wakefield of the band’s process on this album.
