“I’m ready to get my fans involved,” says Fister. “Everyone has scars. Scars have a history and a story behind them. Even the ones that are healed can still ‘hurt.’ Very rarely do we actually get to pick our scars – something I learned amongst doing some introspection of my own scars in writing this song.” With the all social injustices being brought to light in recent events, many wounds have occurred, physically, mentally and emotionally. Their healing will leave scars with stories to tell. “It is no secret many scars have been caused by racism and discrimination. Heartbreak and loss. Broken dreams. I want to help be a vessel for those stories. YOUR story. Let’s bring awareness to all scars and #ShowMeYourScars.”
Whatever type of scar you have, whether it be emotional or physical, you can be included in her upcoming lyric video.
