Tenille Arts Opening Brownlee/Hicks Tour In Saskatchewan

New Artist Breaking in Canada & US

#HEARTSONFIRETOUR / #SHAKETHESEWALLSTOUR

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE  – Tenille Arts was recently announced as one of streaming giant Pandora’s 2017 “Country Artists To Watch,” and the powerhouse singer/songwriter has just been named to open the much anticipated co-headlining tour of JUNO Award nominees and CCMA Award winners Chad Brownlee and Tim Hicks at TCU Place in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on January 12, 2017.

A native of Weyburn, Saskatchewan and current resident of Nashville, Tenille stormed the iTunes charts by debuting at #1 on the Canadian Country chart and #10 on the overall Canadian iTunes chart with her debut self-titled EP last month. She was nominated for the Canadian Country Music Association’s “Discovery Award” in September, and popular country website whiskeyriff.com recently labeled her a “new country artist name you need to know immediately.”

The 22-year-old behind all of this recent attention is a quietly confident country music lover who picked up the guitar and penned her first song at the age of 13 and has been performing across the US and Canada ever since. She made the move to Nashville one short year ago, and a songwriting session late last year turned her life upside down in a very positive way, when she was noticed by award-winning producer Matt Rovey (Craig Campbell, Dean Brody), songwriter/producer Adam Wheeler and Noble Vision Music Group head Hal Oven. Videos on her YouTube channel have garnered over 775,000 views and led to her being featured twice on Bob Kingsley’s nationally syndicated Country Top 40 Countdown and on the Woody and Jim morning show on 107.5 The River in Nashville.
