Nashville, TN. – Stephanie Ryann is back this Friday, 8.19, with a new single titled “About Me”. Written with Joey Cirillo and Andrew King, this song is a fresh take on dealing with the mental side of bullying…expressing that you don’t have to give hate and negativity value in life; you can rise above it.

“People are always going to have something to say about you, for better or worse, true or false, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve really come to understand that those who try to bring you down are the ones who have the problem. It’s not you or what you’re doing…there’s something deeper bothering that person and you just happened to been chosen as the ‘punching bag’ for the day. I wish I better understood this as a kid when I was being bullied. I’m hoping this song reminds those who are being bullied that the lies someone spreads about you speaks volumes about who they are, not about who you are,” says Ryann.

According to Music and Tour News “Stephanie Ryann is set to become one of the genre’s most revered artists,” and with a catalog boasting over 500,000 streams across platforms, it’s not hard to understand why. Stephanie Ryann has been featured on an impressive list of media outlets including CMT, Celeb Secrets, Digital Journal, NY’s Country 94.7, and BCMA, has been named “Artist of the Year” by The Wood Music and awarded “2020 Song of the Year”  by Rt 66 Country Music. Ryann has also been named “One to Watch” by NSAI (Nashville Songwriter’s Association).
