NASHVILLE, TN…American Idol alum Lauren Mascitti has spent the past two years posting her wildly popular weekly series #ClassicCountryCovers across social media. Nashville’s iconic venue 3rd and Lindsley has asked her to make it a live event, which is launching June 15th.

At each #ClassicContryCovers Live show, Lauren will call on her fellow classic country influenced musicians to join her in celebrating a different theme, creating a unique experience per show. “What better way to kick it off than to get my beautiful, talented girlfriends Kennedy Scott and Hannah Blaylock in on it and do our Tribute to Trio show,” Lauren announced. Kennedy Scott will handle the part of Emmylou Harris, Hannah Blaylock as Dolly Parton, and Mascitti will channel her finest Linda Ronstadt.

Many fans discovered Nashville-based singer, songwriter, Lauren Mascitti, during her appearance on the 2020 season of American Idol, but Lauren has been performing and writing songs since the age of 7.  By the time she was a teen, she was performing six shows a week in Branson, Missouri, with gospel singer (and original Oak Ridge Boy) Gary McSpadden. After earning a degree in nursing, she moved to Nashville where she has co-written with artists such as Pam Tillis, Matraca Berg, Mo Pitney, and Bobby Tomberlin. She has performed with Brad Paisley and Shania Twain in a concert honoring her fellow healthcare workers during the pandemic and recently made her Grand Ole Opry debut. Lauren is currently touring in support of her album God Made a Woman, which was named to the New York Times and Saving Country Music’s Best of 2020 lists and went to #5 on iTunes in country albums sales. Her new single, “One Life Stand,” features a music video directed by country icon Pam Tillis. (www.laurenmascitti.com)
