Powerhouse songwriter and performer, David Adam Byrnes, popped the big question to his girlfriend, Amanda, during their vacation to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on July 25th. She said yes!

David Adam Byrnes met Amanda when he rented her grandpa’s old house in Texas upon moving there in 2019. Neighbors tried to introduce them several times to no avail. She finally went to one his shows, and as David puts it, “You always hear about love at first sight…well, I knew there was something there day 1.” They made it official in 2021. This trip was planned around Amanda’s birthday. She needed a getaway from her critical nursing job in the Covid unit. They spent their trip in Cabo lying on the beach, eating great food and getting massages. The wedding will happen on October 7th in Granbury, Texas…the town where it all began.
