NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country music entertainer Scotty McCreery stopped by Great American Country (GAC) to tape an interview with television personality Suzanne Alexander. The interview will be used as part of an upcoming episode of “The Great American Playlist.”  While there, McCreery talked about his new song “Five More Minutes,” which is rising up the singles charts and has already earned nearly 10 million streams. McCreery wrote the song with Monty Criswell and producer Frank Rogers just two weeks after the passing of his paternal grandfather. The highly emotional “Five More Minutes” music video, directed by Jeff Ray, has already risen to No. 6 on the GAC Top 20 Countdown as of the week of July 7-14. It is dedicated to both of his grandfathers and features home video footage of a young McCreery interacting with his family and friends, highlighting the moments and people with whom he’d like to spend five more minutes.

McCreery is on the road this summer. Check out his tour schedule at ScottyMcCreery.com.
