Nashville, Tenn. — Sam Alex brought together over 20 artists in a Celebrity Kickball Game to raise awareness for Get Caught Reading, a nationwide campaign to remind people how much fun it is to read. Team William Michael Morgan won the series over Team Luke Pell 2-1.

Over 100 books were donated to The Children’s Hospital at TriStar Centennial and the Little Free Library, a nonprofit that inspires a love of reading, builds community, and sparks creativity by fostering neighborhood book exchanges around the world.

With thousands descending on Music City for the 2019 CMA Music Festival, the kickball game was a fantastic cap to the week’s festivities.

Additional talent in attendance were Seth Ennis, Jackson Michelson, Emma White, Honey County, Leah Turner, Tara Thompson, Lena Stone, Levon, actress Hayley Orrantia, Mary Sarah, actor Jet Jurgensmeyer, Jordan Brooker, Payton Taylor, Carolyn Miller, Sarah Ryder, actor Stephen Martines, Jordyn Stoddard, Olympic Diver Thomas Finchum and Tyler Dial.
