Ruthie Collins Celebrates Debut Album Release With “Get Drunk and Cry” The Short Film

Nashville, Tenn. – The wait is over as rising country singer Ruthie Collins released her long-awaited debut album, Get Drunk and Cry. The project is fueled by Collins’ visual project, “Get Drunk and Cry” The Short Film, which is inspired by her real-life experiences and heartbreak. The unique video concept includes five different album tracks from the new album, inspired by pop superstar Beyonce’s Lemonade. Watch the epic full video here. The critically acclaimed vocalist has already began turning heads within the country music world, being selected as a CMT Next Women of Country artist. The title track has already began to create a stir, recently being added to the New Boots playlist on Spotify. Delivering fresh music with a traditional spin, the edgy singer/songwriter has performed with other country trendsetters like The Band Perry, Jerrod Niemann, Easton Corbin, Dwight Yoakam and more.

In addition to creating music, Collins is also the co-host of the A&E mini-series, “Home.Made.” where the crafty songstress displays quick do-it-yourself projects. The show inspires creativity with entertaining stories and experiences.  The vignettes air Saturday mornings from 9:00am ET – 12:00pm ET.
