NASHVILLE-NATIVE RECEIVES RIAA GOLD PLAQUE FOR LEAD SINGLE “YOURS”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Just two days before his highly anticipated debut album Yours is released on Triple Tigers Records, rising country star Russell Dickerson kicks off his street week with a sold-out show in his home town of Nashville. Dickerson celebrated with an album release party at neighboring bar Hurry Back before he packed iconic club Exit/In Wednesday, Oct. 11.

While at the industry and media pre-party at Hurry Back, Dickerson was presented with an RIAA Gold plaque representing sales in excess of 500,000 units for his hit single, “Yours,” that has more than 63 million streams and is No. 21 on the Country radio charts. The single, penned by Dickerson, album producer Casey Brown and Parker Welling, fueled the singer’s career by building a huge fan base on streaming services and satellite radio before ever hitting terrestrial radio.
