Rising Country Star Drew Green Releases Autobiographical “Good Ol’ Man”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Today, Villa 40/RCA Nashville/Sony Music Nashville rising country star Drew Green releases the autobiographical track, “Good Ol’ Man,” the singer/songwriter’s first release of 2022.  Written by Green, Josh Miller, Lee Star and producer of the track, Mark Trussell, “Good Ol’ Man” is available HERE. “We wrote this song when I was new at being a father,” recalls Green. “When we came up with the line “good ol’ boy, trying to be a good ol’ man,” it really stood out. It was such a moment for me.” He continues, “This is my son’s and my song, and I hope people get that feeling when they hear it. It’s about being a good family man.”

“Good Ol’ Man” has received viral acclaim on TikTok, where Green first shared a clip of the song. Teaser posts have garnered over 10 million views and the track has amassed over 19,000 user generated videos.

The new track drops on the heels of Drew Green’s two-EP musical journey, Dirt Boy Vol. 1 (Sept. 2020) and Dirt Boy Vol. 2 (Oct. 2021). Green’s debut seven-song collection yielded the streaming successes “She Got That” and “Little More Be Alright.” His subsequent EP included the title track, “Dirt Boy,” and four additional tracks.
