Nashville, TN – Reyna Roberts, rising singer-songwriter-musician, is continuing to make waves as she has been tapped as one of Radio.com’s “Leading Ladies,” a month-long programming series celebrating women in country music and commemorating Women’s History Month. As part of the programming, Roberts’ music will be featured on Entercom’s “Rob + Holly Show” through March 31. The news follows Roberts’ recent induction into CMT’s “2021 Next Women Of Country” class this past month. CMT’s year-long campaign raises awareness for new female artists with support for their music and videos across CMT’s platforms and some of the most notable alumnae of past classes include Kacey Musgraves, Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris and Gabby Barrett.

“I can’t express how grateful and honored I am to be a part of ‘Leading Ladies,’” shared Roberts. “I feel like I’ve been waiting my whole life to hear my music on the radio. I appreciate Heather at KFrog (KFRG Riverside) and everyone at Radio.com from the bottom of my heart for including me in this amazing initiative. I’m blown away at the fact that both of my singles are being played on country radio and I’m in CMT’s NWOC 2021! I’m also blessed to have such an amazing team. They believe in me, and support me in everything I do.”

Roberts has immediately caught the attention of critics with her debut offering “Stompin’ Grounds,” co-written by Roberts with Noah Henson, which found itself featured upon release on ESPN’s Monday Night Football. Listen to her “raucous ‘Stompin’ Grounds’” (New York TimesHERE.

“Roberts is a black woman singing bangers like “Stompin’ Grounds” that would fit right in on country radio. Carrie Underwood is already a fan.” – Rolling Stone

“Stompin’ Grounds” is one of the most purely fun country songs of the year so far. You’ll be hypnotized and tapping your foot along in no time.” –  Paste

“Her new full-throttle track, “Stompin’ Grounds” proves, her other influences (Gretchen Wilson, The Chicks) find their way into her music.” – Billboard

Before moving to Nashville, TN Roberts’ soundtrack to her life was a plethora of genres, with artists including Aretha Franklin, Led Zeppelin, Christina Aguilera, Destiny’s Child, The Chicks and Journey, which made a huge impression on Roberts from a young age, prompting her to jump up on stage at a bar in Fairbanks, AK at the age of three. Roberts’ passion for songwriting and performing only continued to grow as she recorded her first song “Lying To Myself” in 2014, inspired by a crush on a fellow wrestler – the captain of her high school team.  By 2016, Roberts honed her performance chops as she toured throughout the US, opening for The Plain White T’s. Roberts has a heart for giving back, volunteering for organizations including Stand for the Silent, Rett Syndrome Awareness, The Wounded Warrior Project, Teen Impact Affiliates and the Empowerment Project. Born into a military family, Roberts is also a committed advocate in supporting military service members and veterans. For more information on Roberts visit reynaroberts.com and follow updates on Instagram: @thereynaroberts, Twitter: @TheReynaRoberts and Facebook: facebook.com/TheReynaRoberts.
