IN PREMIERE EPISODE OF CMT’S CMT CAMPFIRE SESSIONS
NASHVILLE, Tenn., — Rising 1021 Entertainment/Sony Music Nashville stars Restless Road have released their new song “Bar Friends.” The uplifting track is the band’s first release since their critically-acclaimed major label debut “Took One Look at Her Momma” arrived in February. Listen here.
“Bar Friends is all about friendship,” shares member Garrett Nichols, “and celebrating that group of people that you always want to have fun with on the weekend.”
“Bar Friends” builds on a busy week for the trio, who performed alongside Kane Brown in the premiere episode of CMT’s new series CMT Campfire Sessions Thursday evening. Restless Road and Brown performed some of Brown’s biggest hits including “Lose It” and “Worship You,” as well as their collaboration “Take Me Home.” The episode will re-air this Saturday June 12 at 2PM CST.
On Wednesday evening at the 2021 CMT Music Awards, Restless Road presented the CMT Performance of the Year award to Kelsea Ballerini and Halsey for their performance of “The Other Girl” at the 2020 CMT Music Awards.
