Nashville, TN – Superstar vocal group Rascal Flatts delivered a heartfelt performance to patients and families of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt on Monday (11/7.) The touching visit was streamed live to four other children’s hospitals nationwide, including Atlanta, GA, Boston, MA, Cincinnati, OH and Washington D.C., with its reach totaling over 2,000 patients. It was the first time a performance has ever been broadcast from Seacrest Studios.

The trio performed a selection of their biggest hits during the visit, including “Fast Cars And Freedom,” “God Bless The Broken Road” and their 16th No. One, “I Like The Sound Of That,” recently certified PLATINUM by The RIAA. Over the past 11 years, the group has helped raise almost $4 million for the hospital where the Rascal Flatts Pediatric Surgery Center was named in recognition of the trio’s long-standing involvement, which also includes an annual fundraising dinner.

To date, Rascal Flatts has sold over 23.1 million albums, 32 million digital downloads worldwide, as well as earning over 40 trophies from the ACAs, ACMs, AMAs, CMAs, People’s Choice Awards and more, making them the most awarded country group of the past decade. Recently marking the major milestone of over 10 million concert tickets sold worldwide, the group will perform an intimate “One Night Only” Concert, presented by Budweiser, at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, on Nov. 14. The unique performance will offer fans the chance to enjoy, for the first time, highlights from the trio’s first-ever Christmas album THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL, in an exclusive setting.
