Randy Woody Thrives During A Pandemic

In September of 2020, Randy Woody and the Southbound Band filled an open-air bar in East Tennessee with countless fans and his new record label 419 Records.  Randy Woody signed a merch agreement and played original music late into the evening with his circle of fans cheering him from wall to wall—in the middle of the pandemic it was a site to be seen and life seemed to be normal.

What’s most unique? His record label is founded by a primary care provider, Jenn Keith, who makes sure that all her events are safe to all that attend.  In July of 2020 she hosted Woody to a 419 Pop Up Concert in Oregon where 250 fans gathered along the Columbia River Gorge in Northern Oregon.  The philosophy of his record label is to make venues safe, keep people physically distant, and keep life as normal as possible.

Randy Woody is now headed to Texas with 419 Records and AGENCY419, a booking agency that takes the artists to meet the venue.  “In this time of entertainment, it’s important to be pro-active and swim out to the ship, I can’t wait for it to come to me because the ships aren’t sailing,” says Woody.  “My career has been based on my efforts and will continue now with the team that believes in my outlaw country music.”

Randy Woody is backed by a mission statement from 419 Records: A new music culture designed around wellness and hemp awareness for the greater good of mankind.  While touring Texas he will stop at venues to share his music and every possible store to share the products of Farm419.com that supports his tour.  “It’s a blessing that my record label, backed by wellness, was formed before the pandemic as I know we are on the right track to bring music back to our fans,” says Woody.

Randy Woody has been collaborating with Bryan Wayne Perry for over a decade in how to launch music through a unique platform. Perry is the Director of Label Operations and has worked in the music industry for over 30 years beginning with his father the late Wayne Perry who was a music singer and songwriter.  In a recent interview Bryan Wayne Perry shared, “Randy Woody is the artist that country music is looking for because he has authentic country music and the wellness team behind him.  He is touching lives with music and products.  That’s important as we push into a new era.”

Randy Woody promises new music on the road along with his album that was produced by Kenny Royster who also produced Hurricane for Luke Combs.  His merch line is in place, tour van is ready, and fans are filling up social media begging for this great music in 2021.
