Raised Rowdy Premieres Matt Rogers’ Music Video for “Richest Place On Earth”

Award winning singer/songwriter and Georgia native, Matt Rogers, has released the music video for the title track from his latest project, Richest Place On Earth, exclusively on Raised Rowdy.

“I couldn’t be more proud of this video. This is one of my favorite, if not my favorite, songs that I’ve ever written. It’s my personal story of leaving a full-time job, moving to Nashville and not halfway pursuing this dream, but jumping head first,” says Rogers. “So seeing this song come to life in the video was a humbling experience for me. Especially considering the entire video was filmed in my hometown and countless people who support me volunteered time, services and specific things we needed to make the video possible. Everything about this video is Eatonton, GA. From the film and production crew, to the locations, to the actors. I tell them all the time how I just want to make my family and hometown proud. I’m excited to share a little bit of my hometown with this video.”

Music industry taste maker Robert K. Oermann of Music Row chose “Richest Place On Earth” for the DisCovery Award stating the song was, “extremely well written and sung with fire and conviction.” The tune also recently won a Music City SongStar Award along with his last single, “Britches.”

The video was filmed in Matt’s hometown of Eatonton, GA and was produced by the ten-time Emmy award winning production team of Tytan Pictures which consists of Cinematographer and Producer Jim Stone, Cinematographer Roxy Stone, Director Julio Saldarriaga and Post Production Supervisor/editor Ryan Castillo. The company, who won the National Addy Award for their work with Nike, recently relocated to Eatonton.

“All of us at Tytan were honored to work with Eatonton’s own Matt Rogers,” says Tytan CEO Jim Stone. “Matt is such a wonderful songwriter and performer we were absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to work with him on this video. The song has a very important message and we worked hard to tell the story visually.”
