Fans can tune in on Sunday, July 5 starting at 5 PM CT to view the show headlined by Rick Vito, formerly of Fleetwood Mac, on the Blackberry Jam Facebook page. Since its inception, the Hard Bargain Association has built homes and provided necessary repairs to the homes located on the 15 acres near downtown Franklin, TN that were originally purchased by freed slave Harvey McLemore from his former owner Judge W.S. McLemore.
About Hard Bargain: Hard Bargain is a non-profit organization whose goal is to preserve the historic neighborhood, Hard Bargain, by renovating existing homes, building high-quality affordable housing, and continuing to enrich the lives of its residents. Established in 1875 by a freed slave, Harvey McLemore, Hard Bargain has become a thriving community. The neighborhood is planted on 15 acres in downtown Franklin and consists of families whose roots date back several generations. The community center that harbors the foundation of the neighborhood was sought after for many years, when it was gifted by Solomon Builders of Nashville and the TY2 Foundation. This center, known as TY’s House, holds classes, events, meetings, programs and also contains a café where residents have access to computers and the internet.
