PLA Media Announces Addition of Canadian Trio Beyond the Sun to Its Roster

Award-winning public relations and marketing firm PLA Media is thrilled to welcome Canadian trio Beyond the Sun to its roster. Made up of three tight-knit brothers, singer Colin, guitarist Phil and drummer Dalton Radu, Beyond the Sun has recently relocated to Nashville, Tenn. from the small town of Bowmanville, Ontario.

The group is currently gearing up for the release of their debut country radio single, “Cruisin’ Round Town,” a head-bobbing summer anthem dropping June 16. The track is available for iTunes pre-order now.

“When Alyssa Bonagura told us to check out her Canadian friends, Beyond the Sun, I knew we were in for something special,” remarks Pam Lewis, President of PLA Media. “They did not disappoint and I am thrilled that Phil, Colin and Dalton came to us for their upcoming release.”

While the buzzworthy band may be new to the country scene, they are far from strangers to the musical spotlight. Beyond the Sun’s achievements in the pop world include headlining Wild Summer Festival in Puerto Rico, their debut single (“My Kind of Crazy”) reaching no. 12 on Sirius XM’s 20 on 20 and cracking into the top 100 of the Media Base chart in 2013. Now, after years of touring both the U.S. and Canada, the brothers have decided to re-focus their music to incorporate the gamut of country, alternative and rock influences they were raised on, like Billy Currington, Coldplay, Bruce Springsteen and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Beyond the Sun joins PLA Media’s accomplished clients including the award-winning Johnny Cash Museum, The Patsy Cline Museum, RIAA Diamond certified songwriter Jesse Rice (“Cruise” by Florida Georgia Line) and the iconic Americana Music Triangle.
